In der hebräischen Schule erzählte die Lehrerin der Klasse die biblische Geschichte von Lot. Sie erklärte andächtig, wie Lots Familie aus Sodom floh und wie Lots Frau sich unerlaubt umsah – und augenblicklich zu einer Salzsäule erstarrte.
„Das ist doch gar nichts!“, rief ein kleines Mädchen aus der ersten Reihe. „Neulich hat sich meine Mutter beim Autofahren umgedreht und ist augenblicklich zu einem Telefonmast erstarrt!“
