Kein Witz gefunden.
An Orthodox Jew was walking on a busy street on a Saturday in LA, on his way to synagogue. In a rush, he crossed against the light, and was promptly stopped by a police officer for Jaywalking. "Do you have a form of ID with you?", says the officer. "I'm sorry officer, it's the Sabbath, and I don't carry outside of the home, I have no ID with me, and even if you give me a ticket, I can't carry it home with me". "I understand," says the officer, "I'll tell you what, you seem like a nice honest Jewish man, tell me your name and address, and I will make sure the ticket gets mailed to you". The Jew provides the officer with a name and address, apologizes again, and continues on to synagogue.
At kiddush, he tells this story to his friend. "So what do you think will happen when the ticket shows up in the mail?", asks his friend. "I don't know," replies the man, "But I'd love to be a fly on the wall when the Nation of Islam gets a ticket addressed to 'Kishi Matuchis'" [Note: 'Kish mir in toches' is Yiddish for 'Kiss my ass' – 'Kishi Matuchis' sounds like an Arabic name but means exactly that.]
